Jay Cradeur - Radical Freedom

Book Excerpt (Preface)

“Your only obligation in any lifetime is to be true to yourself.”

― Richard Bach

The year was 2000. I was sitting in my living room in the Old Rectory in Cromhall, England. I was in front of our fireplace, cross-legged, meditating, letting my mind relax and get still. Suddenly a vision appeared. There I was, on an African plain, sitting on the solid clay earth. Ahead of me was a circle of warriors in their most celebratory garb. They were facing inward, toward the chief of the tribe. I knew instinctively to get up and walk toward the chief. He was strong, full of life, with a radiant energy and palpable inner peace. As I entered into the circle, the chief locked into my eyes with a fierce demeanor. I knew to hold his gaze as I approached. I arrived and stopped about one foot in front of him, his intense eyes looking right through me. Then he burst into laughter, and all the brothers in the circle also began to bellow. I had arrived home.

After some time had passed, he asked me if I had a question for him, for certainly, I had met my spirit guide. I asked him what I was to do with the rest of my life. He told me, “Show people how to live a simple life.”
