Masculine Bliss
Masculine Bliss
By Jay Cradeur
2002
Sitting in a circle, the presence of Shiva, a bright light shone through
Energy exponentially exploding throughout, an awakening
No longer sloppy spirits, now forces of penetrating presence
The room, our universe had transformed like a light switch
Where we were afraid, self-focused and cautious
Now surrendered, emboldened and deliciously satisfied
We learned to be with each other that day, that moment
Men being with men, our hearts all feeling the masculine embrace
Our bodies trembling at times, living and breathing each other’s pain
Wanting to scream in agony, yet holding steadfast for love of each other
We are raised to think a woman is the answer to our life’s purpose
A kiss, a hug, a commitment, a shuddering body to adore
Just what is a woman for in a man’s life?
Here is a question for another day, another year, another lifetime.
I think God, the Goddess, or whoever created this magnificent palace,
Must laugh with delight at the predicament of men and women
Together, Men, living the lesson of ruthless, compassionate honesty
From each man’s heart to your own, there is a deep and eternal bond
Sitting together, the energy crisp, the eyes sparkling, the bodies responding,
So open, so exposed, so much integrity while sitting bolt upright
Masculine bliss, when I heard the term I knew we were home
Like hitchhiking for weeks and finally sleeping in your own warm bed
The depth of the room, a moment of pure, unconfused satisfaction
Like hearing God whisper to you, or just knowing that you know
These are the moments that make a life sparkle with electricity
Being together as men produced such an unexpected moment
Sharing masculine bliss, the breath of a worthy mission!
Teaching men the truth about their essential condition

I like it, and your stories. I’ll be spending today reading through the site. thank you.
